The Cisco Meraki MX64W is an all-in-one solution for integrated small-office or branch-level WiFi, backed up by enterprise-grade security systems. This unique entry in the Meraki MX line can stand alone as the only hardware a startup needs for the full power of Meraki cloud based networking, or it can be deployed to extend your WAN virtually anywhere, backed by a 1.2Gbps of 802.11ac access point.
Whether you use the WiFi features, it still includes all the power of Cisco Meraki security systems. The onboard firewall supports a total of 200Mbps of throughput, along with hosting 25 simultaneous VPN systems. The onboard anti-virus and anti-phishing systems monitor for dangerous traffic, and automatically self-update from the Meraki dashboard. The MX64W Meraki firewall also supports fully CIPA-compliant content filtering, including Google SafeSearch integration, making it an excellent option for classroom deployments.
